Job Description:
We are seeking experienced
Fire Protection Sales Representatives
to develop multi-market business for all of the company's engineered products and solutions. This role involves selling technical products and solutions by calling on
engineering firms, contractors, and supporting local Victaulic distributors
. Market focus will be fire protection systems with commitment to extensive overnight travel as required.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, prospects, and distributors to develop territory business
- Plan and execute promotional activities including presentations, trade shows, training seminars, and customer site visits
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and coordinate inter-territorial opportunities
- Research and report market intelligence, competitive information, and sales forecasts for strategic planning
- Manage pricing within guidelines, improve customer specifications, and gather complete quotation requirements
- Maintain current product knowledge and participate in continuous improvement initiatives
- Report activities, progress, market information, new ideas, expenses and other relevant data as appropriate or as requested
Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of outside sales experience, preferably in fire protection, construction, or related industries (HVAC, industrial, building products, mining, oil, municipal, or PVF)
- Proven ability to build long-term relationships with contractors, owners, and distributors
- Strong communication, organizational skills, and mechanical aptitude
- Bachelor's degree is an asset, but not required
- Willingness to travel at least 10% within designated territory
Salary:
$80k+ (based on experience) + (car, uncapped commission & bonus)
