Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated Apprentice Electrician to join our team and gain hands-on experience in electrical systems within a construction environment. This position is ideal for individuals looking to develop their skills under the guidance of experienced electricians. The Apprentice Electrician will assist with installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, ensuring safety and compliance with industry standards.

Duties

  • Assist licensed electricians with installing, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems.
  • Use hand tools and power tools to perform various tasks related to electrical work.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, and technical diagrams to guide installations.
  • Help with the installation of wiring, outlets, switches, and lighting fixtures.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
  • Follow all safety protocols and procedures during job site activities.
  • Support the team in project completion by performing assigned tasks diligently.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience or background in electrical construction is preferred but not required.
  • Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, schematics, blueprint reading, and low voltage systems is a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical systems and construction processes is a plus.
  • Must be willing to learn on the job under supervision of experienced electricians.
  • Valid driver's license.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$36.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
