About The Role
We are seeking a motivated co-op student/intern to support our Quality team. This role will provide hands-on experience in document control, quality systems, and customer and supplier documentation. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and interested in learning how a global company maintains quality and compliance across its operations.
This is a 16-week hybrid position based in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, beginning in early January 2026. It is open to students enrolled in a registered co-op program or individuals seeking an internship opportunity.
What You'll Do
The main responsibilities of this position include:
- Support the structuring and organization of Mara's Document Control Process.
- Assist in documenting company processes, including product release, supplier and customer complaints, and supplier management.
- Create Certificate of Analysis for batches to be shipped
- Help create and maintain customer documentation, including quality statements and questionnaires.
- Support specific projects, such as compiling data and creating documents.
- Collaborate with internal quality teams and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
What We're Looking For
- Currently enrolled or recently graduated from a Science or Quality-related program (e.g., Chemistry, Biology, Food Science, Biochemistry, Environmental Sciences or similar).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Interest in quality management systems, compliance, and document control.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Good communication skills for collaborating with internal teams.
