TITLE: Digital Marketing Officer
POSITION OVERVIEW: The role of the Digital Marketing Officer ("Officer") is to plan, execute, and optimize online marketing initiatives across four distinct organizations: Alexander College, Alexander Academy, Brighton College, and Alebex (an AI virtual assistant software). The Officer will own the day-to-day and week-to-week delivery of digital marketing activities—including paid advertising, SEO and content support, email and CRM automation, landing page conversion optimization, and performance reporting—while tailoring strategy and messaging for distinct and varied audiences. Working independently, the Officer will be trusted to take a goal, create a plan, execute it, and report results with minimal supervision, using data-driven insights to continuously improve performance across all brands.

EDUCATION & REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field required.
- 3+ years of hands-on digital marketing experience (in-house or agency) with proven results.
- Strong experience running paid ads (Google Ads + Meta). LinkedIn Ads experience is a strong asset.
- Excellent writing skills in English: clear, persuasive, audience-appropriate copy for ads, landing pages and email.
- Working knowledge of GA4 and Google Tag Manager; comfortable troubleshooting conversion tracking.
QUALIFICATIONS:

- Communication: concise updates, clear briefs, and confident collaboration with non-marketers (admissions, executives, engineers).
- Ownership and accountability: reliable pipeline hygiene, accurate reporting, and strong follow-up habits.
- Problem-solving mindset: diagnose issues, propose options, and implement fixes quickly; escalate thoughtfully when needed.
- Adaptability: shift tone and channel strategy based on customer type (B2C education vs B2B software) and market feedback.
- Resilience under pressure: able to meet intake timelines, handle last-minute changes, and stay calm when campaigns underperform.
TOOLS & PLATFORMS:
- Ads: Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager; optional: programmatic platforms
- Analytics: GA4, Google Tag Manager, Looker Studio (or similar dashboards)
- CRM/Automation: HubSpot (preferred) or equivalent
- Content/Creative: Canva, Microsoft 365, CMS/website tools
- Project/Collaboration: Teams/Slack, task tracker (Asana/Trello/ClickUp)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop a practical digital marketing plan for each organization (objectives, audience/personas, channel mix, budget allocation, KPIs, campaign calendar).
- Plan, build, launch, and optimize paid campaigns across Google Ads (Search/Display), Meta (Facebook/Instagram), and LinkedIn (B2B for Alebex).
- Daily/weekly campaign monitoring and optimization: creative testing, audience targeting refinement, bid/budget adjustments, and QA of live ads.
- Write high-quality copy: ads, landing pages, email nurtures, webinar/event promos, and short-form product/program messaging; adapt tone for B2C vs. B2B.
- Coordinate landing pages and conversion tracking with the web team; maintain clean UTMs and ensure GA4/GTM conversion tracking is accurate.
- Manage CRM/automation (HubSpot or similar): contact hygiene, lead routing, email campaigns, workflows, chatflows, forms, and basic lead scoring support.
- Conduct quarterly competitive checks and simple market insights (what competitors are promoting, channel trends, and creative benchmarks).
- Identify problems early (tracking gaps, disapproved ads, weak creative, poor lead quality) and implement solutions; escalate thoughtfully when needed.
