Company Description

Fire Monitoring of Canada Inc. (FMC) is a full-service, ULC-listed monitoring company that operates a dedicated Signals Receiving Centre and employs its own team of CFAA certified technicians. FMC technicians undergo specialized training through the Canadian Security Association (CANASA) for installations, and our Client Services staff and dispatchers receive training through the Security Industry Association (SIA) and Central Station Alarm Association (CSAA), respectively. FMC partners with OPEN ACCESS(TM) technology to enhance fire department response times and provides comprehensive services, including fire alarm monitoring, intrusion alarm systems, CCTV, access control, intercom, and nurse call installations and servicing.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Sales Representative located in Kitchener, ON. The Sales Representative will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, managing client relationships, conducting site visits, preparing and presenting proposals, and achieving sales targets. The role also includes coordinating with technical and client service teams to ensure smooth project implementation and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Experience in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities
  • Client relationship management and communication skills
  • Ability to conduct site visits and prepare and present proposals
  • Sales skills and experience achieving sales targets
  • Experience in the security or fire monitoring industry is a plus
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel for client visits
