Job Overview

We are seeking a talented and creative Camera Operator to join our media production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for capturing high-quality video footage for a variety of projects, including videos, events, and digital content. This role requires a keen eye for detail, technical proficiency with professional filming equipment, and the ability to work collaboratively within a dynamic environment. The Camera Operator will play a vital role in bringing visual stories to life through compelling imagery and innovative filming techniques.

Duties

  • Operate professional video cameras and related equipment to record footage according to project specifications
  • Collaborate with directors, producers, and other team members to plan shot lists and filming schedules
  • Set up lighting, framing, and camera angles to achieve desired visual effects
  • Edit footage using software such as Adobe Premiere and Final Cut Pro to produce polished final products
  • Enhance video content with post-production effects utilizing Adobe After Effects and Adobe Photoshop
  • Manage digital assets efficiently, ensuring proper organization and storage of footage
  • Maintain and troubleshoot camera equipment to ensure optimal performance during shoots
  • Incorporate graphic elements or animations using Adobe Illustrator or Adobe InDesign as needed for specific projects
  • Stay updated on the latest filming techniques, equipment advancements, and industry trends

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in videography or cinematography with a strong portfolio of previous work
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite including Lightroom, Photoshop, Premiere, InDesign, Illustrator, and After Effects
  • Experience with Final Cut Pro or similar editing software
  • Strong understanding of camera operation, lighting setups, and audio recording techniques
  • Excellent visual storytelling skills with an artistic eye for composition and detail
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Flexibility to adapt to varying shooting conditions and schedules
