We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Manager to oversee our manufacturing operations. This role is crucial for ensuring efficient production processes, maintaining high-quality standards, and optimizing supply chain operations.
Duties
- Lead and manage the production team to achieve operational goals and targets.
- Implement and monitor production schedules to ensure timely delivery of products.
- Utilize SAP and ERP systems to manage resources effectively and streamline processes.
- Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
- Oversee quality control measures to maintain high standards of product quality.
- Collaborate with supply chain teams to ensure material availability and efficient inventory management.
- Apply mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues and improve assembly processes.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging team participation in problem-solving activities.
- Conduct regular training sessions for staff on best practices in manufacturing and safety protocols.
Experience
- Proven experience in a production management role within a cabinet manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and quality control methodologies.
- Familiarity with MRP systems and supply chain management practices.
- Experience with SAP or other ERP systems is highly desirable.
- Mechanical knowledge related to production equipment is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively and drive process improvements.
