Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Expeditor to join our team at Chucks Roadhouse Bar & Grill. The Expeditor plays a crucial role in ensuring that food orders are prepared and delivered efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This position requires strong organizational skills, a commitment to food safety, and the ability to work collaboratively with kitchen staff and front-of-house personnel. The ideal candidate will have experience in food service and a passion for providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the flow of food orders from the kitchen to the dining area, ensuring timely delivery to customers.
  • Monitor food preparation processes to ensure adherence to food safety and handling standards.
  • Assist kitchen staff with order assembly, ensuring that all items are included and presented correctly.
  • Communicate effectively with cooks and servers to facilitate smooth operations during busy periods.
  • Handle customer inquiries and requests with professionalism, providing assistance as needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and expediting areas.
  • Support cash handling and cashiering tasks as required during service periods.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in food service or kitchen environments is preferred.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques is essential.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with guests and team members.
  • Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Experience in cashiering or cash handling is a plus.
  • A willingness to help others and contribute positively to the team dynamic is crucial.
