About the Clinic

We are a well-established and growing Allergy & Immunology specialty clinic located in Scarborough, Ontario. Our clinic provides comprehensive assessment and management of allergic conditions in a collaborative, patient-centered environment. We are currently seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our multidisciplinary team and support the delivery of high-quality specialty care.

Position Summary

The Nurse Practitioner will work closely with the Allergy & Immunology physician(s) to assess, diagnose, treat, and manage patients with allergic and immunologic conditions. This role is ideal for an NP who values clinical autonomy while working within a supportive specialty practice.

Key Responsibilities


• Conduct patient assessments, histories, and physical examinations


• Manage and follow up on patients with allergic conditions (e.g., asthma, allergic rhinitis, food allergies, urticaria, eczema)


• Order and interpret diagnostic tests as per scope of practice


• Provide patient education, counseling, and care plans


• Prescribe medications and treatments in accordance with Ontario regulations


• Assist with allergy testing workflows and treatment follow-ups


• Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records (EMR)


• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and administrative staff to ensure continuity of care


• Comply with CPSO, CNO, and clinic policies and procedures

Qualifications & Requirements


• Registered Nurse Practitioner (NP) in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO)


• NP designation (Primary Health Care preferred)


• Experience in allergy, respiratory, dermatology, or specialty clinics is an asset (training can be provided)


• Strong clinical judgment and patient-focused approach


• Excellent communication and documentation skills


• Experience with EMRs is an asset


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
