Pay Rate:
$22 – $26/hour, based on experience

Kelly Services is looking for a detail-oriented
Accounts Payable Clerk
to join our client's busy transportation team in Cambridge. Our client value a strong work ethic and the ability to excel in a fast-paced environment. If this sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review, verify, and process vendor invoices in QuickBooks
  • Match invoices to purchase orders, delivery tickets, and contracts
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies promptly
  • Prepare and execute weekly payment runs
  • Maintain organized filing systems for invoices, payments, and financial documents
  • Support month-end closing activities with accurate and timely data entry
  • Communicate with vendors, carriers, and internal teams to resolve billing issues
  • Assist with audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards and transportation industry requirements
  • Provide coverage for accounts receivable when required
  • Support cross-trained functions, including e-commerce, during absences or peak workloads

Qualifications:

  • 3–5 years of experience in accounts payable; experience in transportation or logistics is an asset
  • Must have proven experience in QuickBooks and strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
  • High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to manage deadlines in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
