Location: Calgary, AB (Remote, Work from Home)
Contract: Independent Contractor, 6 months (with the possibility of extension)
Start Date: Immediate

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Recruiter to support our clients' hiring needs on a contract basis. In this role, you will recruit for a wide range of non-technical and specialized positions, leveraging your business development and relationship-building skills to engage top talent. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in sourcing talent, managing the full recruitment process, and working independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements, priorities, and team needs.
  • Develop and execute targeted sourcing strategies to identify top talent.
  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including job postings, candidate outreach, screening, interviews, and offer coordination.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates across multiple disciplines.
  • Provide market insights and recommendations to support hiring decisions.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience through professional and timely communication.
  • Track and report on recruitment activity and metrics.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of recruitment experience, with a strong focus on technical and specialized positions.
  • Proven success in managing high-volume, multi-discipline recruitment projects.
  • Demonstrated expertise in advanced sourcing techniques and use of modern recruitment tools/platforms.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build credibility and influence at all levels.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while meeting deadlines.

Contract Details:

  • Must be set up as an independent contractor.
  • Remote, Work from Home. Must be located in Canada.
  • Initial contract term: 6 months, with the possibility of extension based on business needs.
