Our Litigation and Dispute Resolution Group maintains a broad commercial and civil litigation practice, including matters relating to contractual, shareholder, corporate governance, and employment disputes, extraordinary orders and pre-judgment enforcement, defamation, and professional regulatory and discipline matters.
What We're Looking For
TingleMerrett is seeking an experienced, highly motivated lawyer interested in joining our Litigation and Dispute Resolution team as a senior associate or junior partner. Eligible candidates must have 5+ years' litigation experience and should be a member in good standing with active membership in the Law Society of Alberta. The ideal candidate is entrepreneurial and will have at least a partial portable Commercial Litigation practice. We seek candidates who are positive, professional, and motivated to deliver exceptional legal work in a team environment. The candidate must have the ability to work pro-actively and independently. The ideal candidate will be a strong team player with exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other members of the firm.
Who You Are
- 5+ years of litigation experience, preferably in commercial litigation
- Passionate about the law, including a desire to improve your legal skills
- A creative problem solver with a positive and helpful attitude and excellent people skills
- Desire to build strong client relationships
- Responsive, resourceful, practical and a problem solver
- Dedication to providing efficient and effective service for our clients
- A collaborative and respectful team player
