As
Director, Institutional Sales
, you will be a key driver of Hiive's growth by cultivating and expanding deep relationships with premier global venture capital investors, institutions, and ultra-high-net-worth individuals. You will directly generate significant liquidity and trading volume on our platform by combining strategic relationship management with a relentless sales focus. This is a high-impact, client-facing role where success is measured by revenue, deal flow, and the trust you build in the market.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Would Include

  • Becoming an expert on the secondary market for pre-IPO securities, understanding market dynamics, key participants, and the role of Hiive.
  • Developing, owning, and growing a portfolio of institutional and ultra-high-net-worth investor relationships, bringing all of Hiive's investment capabilities to the market.
  • Driving revenue growth by prospecting new clients, re-engaging dormant accounts, and executing targeted sales campaigns to deliver trading volume and platform adoption. Acting as a trusted relationship manager, delivering consistent, high-value communication and positioning Hiive as the preferred venue for secondary transactions. Expanding Hiive's market share by opening new channels, identifying fresh pools of investors, and unlocking additional sources of capital.
  • Meeting and exceeding sales performance metrics while cultivating repeat business and long-term client partnerships.

The Ideal Candidate Will

  • Be a highly driven, influential professional with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, a strong sense of urgency, a superior work ethic, intellectual curiosity, and outstanding organizational abilities.
  • Have a proven track record of success in meeting and exceeding sales targets while building deep, trusted relationships with institutional or ultra-high-net-worth investors.
  • Bring 6+ years of experience in investment sales, mutual fund sales, investment banking, venture capital, private equity, corporate development, or institutional sales and trading.
  • Have a relevant educational background, such as a commerce or economics degree, or exceptional academic performance in a liberal arts or science program.
  • Be FINRA Series 7 and 63 licensed or able to complete the registrations shortly after hiring.
