The Opportunity
Our client is seeking a dynamic, customer-facing Sales Director to lead their direct sales and distributor partnerships across the globe. This is a confidential search to reshape the sales leadership with someone who thrives in front of customers.
What You'll Do
- Work as a member of the senior leadership team to align Sales strategy with business strategy
- Lead and coach a high-performing sales and marketing team
- Drive strategic growth across commercial, defence, and recreational segments
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners
- Travel regularly to meet clients, attend industry events, and support field sales
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to align customer needs with solutions
- Develop and execute sales plans, forecasts, and performance metrics
What You Bring
- Proven success in leading B2B sales teams in manufacturing or marine sectors
- Strong customer-facing skills and ability to travel regularly
- Experience with complex sales cycles and technical products
- Strategic mindset with hands-on leadership style
- Background in marine hardware, defense contracting, or advanced manufacturing
- Familiarity with CRM systems and sales analytics tools
