Overview

We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our food team. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, managing transactions accurately, and assisting customers with product inquiries. The ideal candidate will be organized, communicative, and capable of handling multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Bilingual skills and experience in technology sales or merchandising are a plus, helping to enhance the customer experience and drive sales.

Duties

  • Greet customers warmly and assist with their shopping needs
  • Operate POS systems accurately for cash handling and transactions
  • Upsell products and promote store promotions to increase sales opportunities
  • Maintain organized merchandising displays to enhance product visibility
  • Provide knowledgeable assistance regarding store products and services
  • Handle customer inquiries via phone or in person with professionalism and courtesy
  • Ensure the checkout area remains clean, organized, and welcoming
  • Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment as required

Experience

  • Previous experience in retail sales, cashiering, or customer service preferred
  • Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities (e.g., Spanish) are a plus
  • Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and basic math skills
  • Experience in technology sales or conducting product demos is advantageous
  • Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to manage time effectively
  • Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills for engaging with diverse customers
  • Ability to upsell products through effective communication and product knowledge

Pay: $17.85 per hour
