Sodexo is hiring a Part-Time Housekeeper to join our dedicated Environmental Services team at 54 Riverview, part of London Health Sciences Centre in London, Ontario. In this essential role, you'll help create a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients, staff, and visitors alike.

Job Description

What You'll Do:

As a valued member of our housekeeping team, you provide exceptional cleaning and sanitation services that contribute directly to patient safety and comfort. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

· Thoroughly cleaning rooms, washrooms, hallways, windows, carpets, and high-touch surfaces

· Maintaining cleanliness of light fixtures, furniture, vents, and mattresses

· Dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing floors

· Emptying garbage and biohazard containers

· Setting up furniture and performing minor repairs or reporting maintenance needs

· Adhering strictly to infection prevention, safety, and healthcare standards

Schedule Details: 

  • 5pm - 11pm / 5pm to 10pm (Weekends Off)
Qualifications

What You Bring:

· A strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail

· Excellent customer service and communication skills

· Physical ability to perform repetitive tasks, stand for long periods, and handle equipment

· Ability to follow detailed cleaning protocols and safety standards

· High school diploma or equivalent

· Vulnerable Sector Background Check and up-to-date immunization records

· At least 1 year of housekeeping or custodial experience—healthcare setting experience is a strong asset
