SUNTEP Prince Albert requires a sessional instructor for EPSE 348 – Essentials of Assessing Student Learning
Course Description: This course provides training in the skills involved in assessing student achievement. Students will learn how to construct various measuring devices such as paper and pencil tests, performance tests, assignments, portfolios, and observation schedules. Students will also learn how to summarize, interpret and report assessment results.
Responsibilities: Develop and deliver course content that aligns with the course objectives.
Engage students in interactive and practical learning experiences. Monitor and assess student progress and provide constructive feedback. Facilitate discussions and activities that encourage active learning. Support students in their learning.
Qualifications: The successful candidate will have a Masters degree and be approved by the USASK College of Education. An understanding of Gabriel Dumont Institute values and previous teaching experience at the post-secondary level is an asset. The successful candidate will have a thorough understanding of various measures of assessment and current practices within the Saskatchewan school curriculum. Class is scheduled to be in person at GDI SUNTEP campus in Prince Albert but may be offered virtual or hybrid for the right candidate.
Remuneration: U of S Sessional Lecturer wage grid
