Job Description:

To assist in the growth of the Commercial Vans Division (Mercedes Benz Sprinter) through planning and implementing marketing strategies and sales.

Reports to: Commercial Vans Manager, Sales Manager

Ideal Candidate:

Outgoing and enthusiastic, comfortable meeting potential customers outside of the dealership. Able to generate quality leads through prospecting. Think outside the box to develop exposure for the brand.

Primary Responsibilities:

· Assist in developing and implementing a marketing plan/sales strategy which may include mailings, promotional events, offsite visits etc.

· Meet with potential customers both at the dealership and away from the dealership, present Vans product in a knowledgeable and professional manner.

· Help determine solutions for customers through a consultative sales approach.

· Help potential customers select model most suited to their needs.

· Provide clear effective quotes/proposals to customers when required.

· Keep up to date on Vans product changes as well as competitors' products. Be aware of changing market conditions.

· Aid in resolving customer problems & issues.

Qualifications:

· Excellent communication skills, both written & oral.

· Experience in Business-to-Business Sales with the ability to understand how a variety of businesses operate.

· Goal/results-oriented, ability to work independently & as part of a team.

· Effective time management skills as well as problem-solving skills.

· Experience in Commercial Vehicle and/or Automotive Sales an asset.

· Excellent customer service skills.

· Must have a valid Drivers License.

· OMVIC License an asset (must be able to qualify for an OMVIC license)

· Sales or Sales Related Commercial / Automotive Experience: 2+ years (Preferred)

Licence: Drivers License (Required)
