Claims Support Representative

The Claims Support team are front line service providers. You will be responsible for logging and opening incoming claims, filing, assisting in payments and billing and maintaining other claims processing procedures. With the utmost compassion and empathy, you will triage and where possible answer customer questions or redirect to the appropriate individual to do so. You may also be responsible for providing clerical assistance for the adjusting and claims leadership team as needed.
Responsibilities:
Receiving, processing and monitoring claims received and creating electronic claim files.
Providing customer service to policyholders around claim related matters.
Gathering necessary information and distributing claim files to respective colleagues.
Continuously updating claim files in alignment with the claims settlement process.
Providing support to the Adjuster/Claims Manager by organizing documents, invoices, and other official reports.
Collaborating with direct team and cross functional teams within Canada on claim related matters.
This is a 4 month contract: May 6,2026 - September 4,2026.
Requirements:
Candidates must reside in Canada and be authorized to work in Canada.
Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
Minimum of one (1) years experience in insurance industry or other office experience required.
Demonstrated skills with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
Prior experience with Guidewire Suite an asset.
Diploma or certificate in Office Administration preferred.
General Insurance Essentials certificate or willingness to work towards.
