About The Role We are looking for an Senior Front-End Shopify Developer to strengthen our talented team in building custom ecommerce experiences for our broad range of clients and technologies. We're looking for someone who isn't there to "take orders" and tasks, but wants to understand the why and cares about it.
Passion + Vision: You are passionate about the ever evolving the digital storefront and are an ambassador of the trade. You feel passionate about creating highly performant, accessible websites with a strong sense of UX and empathy for end users.
Ownership + Collaboration: You are excited about being a part of a team that encourages each other to contribute, be creative, have a voice and grow. You evangelize and educate best practices throughout the team. You actively stay informed about & share changes in Front-End technology and the ecommerce industry on the whole.
Your Mission
  • Understand the client, their customers and their needs, then help architect a solution on Shopify with a deep understanding of the platform and the ecosystem.
  • Collaborate with our cross-functional team to create engaging & impactful user experiences for brands & retailers online.
  • Keep the execution bar high - and continuously try to help move it higher and higher.

Skills to help you Succeed
  • Multiple years experience with solutioning and building custom Shopify sites, ideally experience with homegrown starter themes.
  • Strong native JavaScript skills, including custom elements and web components.
  • Nice to have: experience building Checkout, Account & POS extensions on Shopify
  • Adopt existing patterns and conventions, as well as contribute to new ones.
  • Experience creating and consuming RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
  • Git and CI/CD tools (currently use Github Actions).
  • Interfacing with clients, asking great questions.
