About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Concrete Former to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in forming, framing, and pouring concrete for residential, commercial, or civil projects. You will be responsible for building and setting forms, working with crews, and ensuring all work meets safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build, install, and dismantle concrete forms (wood, steel, or modular systems)
  • Measure, cut, and assemble formwork materials according to project specifications
  • Assist with rebar placement, concrete pours, and finishing where required
  • Ensure all work follows safety protocols and project timelines
  • Collaborate with site supervisors and team members to complete tasks efficiently
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work environment

Qualifications & Skills

  • Minimum 2–3 years experience as a Concrete Former or similar role
  • Strong understanding of formwork systems and construction practices
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
  • Physically fit and capable of working in various weather conditions
  • Safety-oriented mindset; valid safety certifications (e.g., CSTS, WHMIS) considered an asset
  • Reliable transportation to job sites
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
