Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position for a Clinic Coordinator located in the Greater Guelph Metropolitan Area. The Clinic Coordinator will oversee day-to-day clinic operations, ensuring smooth workflow and an exceptional patient experience. Responsibilities include managing schedules, coordinating with medical staff, handling administrative tasks, ensuring regulatory compliance, and implementing operational improvements. The role also involves communication with patients, addressing inquiries, and working closely with the management team to maintain a high standard of service.

Qualifications

  • Excellent organizational and administrative skills, including scheduling, workflow coordination, and multitasking capabilities.
  • Proficiency in software tools relevant to healthcare management, such as EMR systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and appointment scheduling platforms.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities for managing staff and engaging with patients effectively.
  • Knowledge in healthcare policies, compliance, and best practices, including familiarity with OHIP billing processes.
  • Problem-solving and critical thinking skills to implement operational improvements and handle challenges effectively.
  • Previous experience in a healthcare, clinic, or administrative role is strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related field is an asset.
