About the Role

We're looking for a part-time Social Media Assistant who lives and breathes internet culture. You must be able to meet a few times per month downtown Toronto to film content.

This super flexible gig is great for people who thrive on creativity, love experimenting with ideas, and want a project where you make a real impact.

What you'll do:

  • Work directly with Pok Pok's co-founders to plan, create, and post content across social channels including Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
  • Film and edit video content that feels native to TikTok, Reels, and other platforms.
  • Stay on top of social media trends and find creative ways to apply them
  • Help grow presence with parents, educators, and anyone passionate about play.

You're the perfect fit if you:

  • You live online. Doomscrolling is your life.
  • You're extremely tuned into social media trends (memes, formats, sounds, all of it).
  • You have super strong video editing and content creation skills.
  • You're a self-starter who can work independently and is fired up to make magic
  • You want a front seat to growing founder personal brands and a fast-growing startup
  • You live in Toronto and can meet up to film content regularly.

The gig:

  • Part-time independent contract hours/week on average, to start).
  • Flexible hours—work whenever works for you (other than occasional IRL filming)
