About the role:

This role sits at the center of client strategy, delivery, and growth. As Account Director, you will lead a portfolio of priority client relationships and play a critical role in ensuring clients realize long term value from RewardOps.

You will be responsible for guiding client strategy, driving retention and expansion in partnership with senior leaders, and coordinating cross functional teams to deliver consistently strong outcomes. This role is ideal for a strong client leader ready to take on broader ownership, deeper strategic responsibility, and increased exposure to complex, high impact accounts.

 

What you will own:

·       Lead day to day strategic relationships with senior client stakeholders, building trust and credibility through strong delivery, thoughtful recommendations, and consistent follow through

·       Drive client retention and growth by identifying expansion opportunities, supporting renewals, and contributing to commercial strategy in partnership with leadership

·       Manage client level financial health, including awareness of scope, margin, and cost drivers, and proactively flag risks or opportunities that may impact account profitability

·       Translate data and performance insights into clear, actionable recommendations that help clients improve program performance and outcomes

·       Partner closely with Product, Rewards, Support, Finance, and Delivery teams to ensure client priorities are understood, planned for, and executed effectively

·       Guide onboarding and transition for new clients, ensuring a smooth handoff into production and setting a strong foundation for long term success

·       Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and emerging client needs, working internally to remove roadblocks and prevent escalation

·       Execute quarterly reviews and strategic planning conversations, helping connect platform capabilities and roadmap direction to client goals

·       Maintain a strong working knowledge of RewardOps capabilities, partnerships offerings, and future roadmap to confidently advise clients

·       Collaborate with Support and Rewards teams to manage escalations when needed, providing clear context, prioritization, and resolution leadership

·       Contribute to improving client success processes, playbooks, and best practices.

·       Trusted by clients as a strategic partner, not just a delivery lead

·       Consistently retaining and growing your client portfolio

·       Confidently leading complex client conversations with support when needed

·       Influencing internal priorities through strong client insight and clear communication

·       Seen internally as a go to owner for client strategy and problem solving

Who you are:

· years in account management, or client services, ideally within Loyalty or SaaS

·       Experience managing complex, multi stakeholder client relationships and delivering digital or platform-based solutions

·       Strong strategic thinker who can connect client objectives to practical execution and measurable outcomes

·       Comfortable using data and insights to inform recommendations and guide decision making

·       Clear and confident communicator with strong presentation and relationship building skills

·       Experience mentoring or supporting other client team members is an asset

·       Organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

·       Motivated by ownership, growth, and the opportunity to step into a broader leadership role
