Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-focused Food Safety and Quality Assurance (FSQA) Technician to join our expanding team. In this role, you will help ensure that all products consistently meet our stringent food safety, quality, and regulatory standards. The position follows a rotational shift pattern, currently covering a continental shift schedule that includes weekends (Saturday and Sunday) plus two weekday shifts. Pay rate is from $20 - $24 per/hr

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough inspections of raw materials, in-process, and finished products to ensure quality and safety.
  • Monitor and record temperature, sanitation, and environmental data to comply with HACCP, GMP, and company policies.
  • Perform laboratory testing such as pH, moisture, allergen identification, and microbiological analysis.
  • Maintain accurate, organized documentation to support audit readiness and reporting.
  • Identify non-conformance issues and support corrective and preventive action (CAPA) efforts.
  • Collaborate closely with Production, Sanitation, and Maintenance teams to maintain high quality standards.
  • Assist with ongoing continuous improvement projects to enhance food safety and quality processes.

Requirements

  • 1 to 2 years of experience in food manufacturing or processing, preferably with QA, QC, or lab exposure.
  • Keen attention to detail with strong accuracy in testing, recording, and reporting results.
  • Excellent time management, organization, and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced production setting.
  • Effective communication skills to clearly explain technical information.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
