The Instructor is responsible for guiding students toward achieving their academic potential by providing mentorship, planning, organizing, and implementing a structured approach to learning. This role requires delivering a curriculum that aligns with the institution's core values and following a prescribed teaching plan.

Essential Responsibilities:

Cosmic College is looking for a passionate and skilled Hairstylist Instructor to join our team. If you are confident in your hairstyling abilities and love helping others learn, this is your opportunity to grow in a stable and inspiring environment.

What We're Looking For:

  • Must have a Journeyman Certificate in Hairstyling
  • Strong hands-on skills in fades, perms, coloring, cutting, and styling
  • Comfortable using computers for attendance, student progress, and curriculum tools
  • Good understanding of how apprenticeship and licensing exams work in Ontario
  • Positive, professional, and committed to student success

Position Requirements:

  • Experience:
  • A minimum of 48 months of work or teaching experience in the relevant field, obtained within the last 10 years
  • OR
  • A minimum of 24 months of work or teaching experience in the relevant field, obtained within the last 10 years, plus one of the following:
  • Graduation from a registered Private Career College (PCC) or an equivalent institution.
  • Verification:
  • Applicants must provide 3 reference letters from non-relatives, verifying their work or teaching experience in the relevant discipline.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $21.00-$24.00 per hour

  • AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (required)

Licence/Certification:

  • Hairstyling Licence (required)
