What You'll Be Doing (Key Responsibilities)
This is a full-cycle recruitment role, spanning strategy, sourcing, and retention:

  • Strategic Talent Acquisition
  • Full-Cycle Recruitment: Manage the end-to-end hiring process for both regulated and unregulated healthcare professionals (RNs, RPNs, PSWs, etc.).
  • Workforce Planning: Develop and execute local sourcing strategies to ensure the Hamilton branch consistently meets its staffing needs and client objectives.
  • Active Sourcing: Utilize social media, ATS, professional networks, and community partnerships to identify, attract, and screen top-tier candidates who align with Bayshore's values.
  • Community & Relationship Building
  • Be the Bayshore Ambassador: Actively network and represent the organization at career fairs, educational institutions, and community groups.
  • In-Person Engagement: Conduct face-to-face interviews and build strong professional relationships with candidates and educational partners through community travel.
  • Public Speaking: Deliver presentations and conduct information sessions to promote healthcare careers and attract talent to the Bayshore mission.
  • Onboarding & Engagement
  • Seamless Onboarding- Coordinate and facilitate the onboarding and training process, ensuring a positive and informative start for all new hires.
  • Retention Partner- Collaborate with the Branch Management team to ensure staff engagement and satisfaction, fostering a positive "Bayshore Experience" throughout the employee journey.
  • Administrative Excellence- Maintain accurate and compliant records using our Applicant Tracking System (ATS), HRIS, and other in-house programs.

What You Bring (Qualifications)

  • Experience: A minimum of two (2) years of recent, progressive experience as a full-cycle Recruiter, specifically within the healthcare industry.
  • Education: Completion of a recognized post-secondary program in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Expertise: Solid knowledge of HR principles, recruitment practices, and relevant employment legislation.
  • Mobility: Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle, with a willingness to travel regularly within the Hamilton and surrounding area for community outreach and off-site interviews.
