Must-Have Skillset
:
- Cross Program Delivery Coordinator: coordination of multiple technical initiatives and an understanding of end-to-end IT environment management (progression of Code from Dev to Test to UAT to Pred Prod to Prod).
- Project Fusion (financial system consolidation), Project Nexus (MS tenant consolidation), and UOX (utility operations transformation).
Position Overview, Responsibilities & Deliverables
: The Cross Program Delivery Coordinator is responsible for developing and maintaining a consolidated enterprise-wide schedule that captures the intersections, constraints, and dependencies across multiple large-scale programs and projects. This role plays a critical part in ensuring alignment, visibility, and proactive risk and issue management across the portfolio. Specifically, this role will focus on coordination between and with the client's (Oil & Gas domain) digital programs:
- Cross Program Delivery Coordinator: coordination of multiple technical initiatives and an understanding of environment management (progression of code from Dev to Test to UAT to Pred Prod to Prod)
- Project Fusion (financial system consolidation), Project Nexus (MS tenant consolidation), and UOX (utility operations transformation).
Key Responsibilities
:
- Consolidated Scheduling
: Build and maintain a unified, enterprise-level schedule that integrates timelines, platforms, environments, and integrations from multiple programs and projects, ensuring visibility into key milestones, overlaps, and critical paths. Create critical path and look-ahead views of tasks and activities for the cross programs. - Dependency & Constraint Management
: Identify, document, and track cross-program dependencies and constraints. Facilitate resolution planning and ensure awareness and alignment across impacted teams. - Risk & Issue Coordination
: Maintain a centralized log of risks and issues related to cross-portfolio intersections. Collaborate with program leads to assess impact, assign ownership, and monitor mitigation plans. - Planning Facilitation
: Coordinate inter-program planning sessions to align on sequencing, environments, and required outcomes. Ensure that changes in one program are communicated and assessed across others. - Reporting & Communication
: Provide regular updates to program leadership teams on schedule progress, emerging risks, and critical dependencies. Support governance forums with consolidated views and insights. - Tool Utilization
: Leverage enterprise tools (e.g., OnePlan, ADO, Power BI, Excel) to visualize and manage the integrated schedule and associated risk/issue tracking. - Governance & Process Adherence
: Ensure adherence to internal project delivery frameworks, Digital controls, and compliance standards. Assist in maintaining project templates, standardized processes, and continuous improvement initiatives as needed. Contribute to the centralization of the overall Delivery Excellence portfolio project reporting and information integration.
Required Skills & Qualifications
:
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 8+ years of project coordination experience, with at least 3+ years supporting ERP Implementations or enhancements in the oil and gas or energy sector.
- Experience with ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle EBS, JD Edwards, or Microsoft Dynamics.
Technical & Tool Proficiency
- Strong knowledge of project management tools (MS Project, Azure DevOps, JIRA, ServiceNow, Smartsheet, etc.).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced Excel and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with business process mapping, data migration, and systems testing.
Soft Skills & Attributes
- Exceptionally detail-oriented and highly organized.
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written), with the ability to interact across technical and nontechnical teams.
- Self-motivated with a proactive mindset and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
Preferred Qualifications
:
- PMP/CAPM certification or working toward certification.
- ITIL Foundation certification.
- Previous experience in Agile or hybrid project environments.
- Understanding of oil and gas business processes (e.g., upstream, midstream, capital projects, maintenance planning, etc.).
