Edmonton Integrated Services (EIS) is seeking a highly motivated, organized, and values-driven professional to join our Supportive Living Program (SLP) as a Supported Living Coordinator. This role is ideal for a thoughtful leader who thrives in complex service environments and is committed to person-centered, high-quality supports for adults with developmental disabilities.

Overall Position Summary
Reporting to the Program Coordinator, the Supported Living Coordinator is responsible for the development, coordination, and ongoing monitoring of individualized support services within the Supportive Living Program. This includes funding proposal development, service planning, subcontractor recruitment and oversight, service monitoring, and operational leadership to ensure compliance with accreditation standards, funder requirements, and EIS policies.
The Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring that supports are delivered safely, effectively, and in alignment with each Individual's goals, dignity, and rights.
Key Responsibilities
Program Coordination & Service Delivery
- Develop and maintain funding proposals, service plans, and related documentation in alignment with Individual needs, funder expectations, and accreditation standards.
- Monitor and evaluate service delivery to ensure supports outlined in Individual Service Plans are implemented consistently and effectively.
- Coordinate the setup of new services, including staffing, documentation, and operational readiness.
- Ensure policies, processes, and procedures are in place and functioning effectively within the Supportive Living Program.
Leadership & Staff Support
- Recruit, onboard, and support Monitors and Subcontractors appropriate to the needs of the Individuals served.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and ongoing support to Monitors and Subcontractors to promote accountability, professionalism, and high-quality service delivery.
- Address performance concerns, service issues, and conflict in a timely, respectful, and solution-focused manner.
- Participate in on-call rotation, providing direction and decision-making support during emergencies or after-hours situations.
Collaboration & Community Engagement
- Work collaboratively with internal teams, families/guardians, funders, and community partners to support coordinated and responsive service delivery.
- Participate in the community to encourage inclusive opportunities, connections, and natural supports for Individuals.
- Promote and advocate for the Individual, the Supportive Living Program, and EIS values in all professional interactions.
Compliance, Risk & Documentation
- Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential documentation in accordance with agency standards and regulatory requirements.
- Support risk management processes, incident response, and follow-up as required.
- Contribute to accreditation readiness and ongoing quality improvement efforts.
You Will Bring
Education
- Post-secondary diploma or degree in Community Rehabilitation, Disability Studies, or a related field.
Experience
- Progressive direct service experience to a senior practitioner and/or intermediate administrative level.
- Minimum three (3) years' experience supporting adults with developmental disabilities.
- At least two (2) years of demonstrated leadership, supervision, or coordination experience.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Strong coaching, mentoring, and conflict-resolution skills within the disability sector.
- Solid understanding of person-centered practices, service planning, and community-based supports.
- Knowledge of regulatory systems, risk management, and accreditation requirements.
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong computer proficiency, including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), databases, and virtual meeting platforms.
- Ability to manage competing priorities, work independently, and exercise sound judgment in dynamic situations.
- Demonstrated cultural awareness, sensitivity, and professionalism.
Hours & Work Requirements
- Full-time position (Monday–Friday), with participation in an on-call rotation.
- Flexibility required to respond to service needs and emergencies outside standard hours.
- Regular travel within the Edmonton region is required.
Other Requirements
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle with $2,000,000 personal liability insurance.
- Successful completion of a Vulnerable Sector and Criminal Record Check.
- Ability to attend and facilitate meetings, training sessions, and presentations as required.
