Become a Door Assembly Specialist at RONA This dynamic role will allow you to move and handle a variety of equipment, contributing to our service excellence while developing and using your carpentry skills.

Your role:

  • Assemble interior and exterior doors to Rona standards
  • Mount and hang doors according to specifications, creating pre-assembled doors based on customer needs, including custom sizes and hanging options
  • Ensure consistent quality of work
  • Work in accordance with company health and safety and loss prevention policies and procedures
  • Any other related duties ensuring the smooth running of the store

Possible equipment:

  • Table saw
  • Miter saw
  • Nailer
  • Router
  • Automatic door milling machine
  • Various portable electrical equipment

What we're looking for:

  • Knowledge of finish carpentry is an asset
  • Experience with pneumatic tools
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to assess customer needs and provide satisfactory solutions
  • Ability to work independently and handle doors physically
