Position Overview:
The
Revenue & Settlements Analyst
is responsible for ensuring accurate customer billing and timely, correct driver compensation. This intermediate-level role focuses on reviewing, processing, and auditing customer invoices and driver settlements to ensure alignment with contracts, completed work, and internal controls.

Working closely with Operations, Finance, and external customers, this role plays a key part in protecting revenue, supporting cash flow, and resolving billing discrepancies in a fast-paced transportation environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Billing, Compliance & Accuracy

  • Review daily driver paperwork (logs, trip sheets, fuel receipts) and validate against system data to ensure accurate customer invoices and driver pay.

  • Process customer invoices in accordance with contract terms, including rates, fuel surcharges, and accessorial charges.
  • Prepare manual invoices for billable items not automatically captured in the system.
  • Conduct audits and pricing reviews to ensure revenue is accurately captured and contracts are followed.

  • Accounts Receivable Support & Analysis

  • Generate and analyze driver settlement reports to ensure accurate payments based on miles, loads, standards, and bonuses.

  • Identify, investigate, and resolve invoicing and settlement discrepancies.
  • Produce KPI and operational reports to support accurate financial reporting.
  • Develop customized reports for internal and external stakeholders using large datasets.

  • Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

  • Work closely with Operations, dispatch, drivers, Accounts Receivable, and customers to resolve billing and settlement issues.

  • Identify documentation or data entry gaps and provide feedback to improve process accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Intermediate experience in billing, revenue, or accounts receivable
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Working knowledge of transportation terminology
  • Understanding of confidentiality and data protection requirements
  • Working knowledge of accounts receivable terminology (asset)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Fast, accurate typing and high attention to detail
  • Experience following standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Applied knowledge of data validation and reconciliation techniques
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
