Summary:

This full-time position will require the successful candidate to fulfill product transfer orders in accordance with company policy and safety regulations in all related physical inventory management and quality control activities in the safest, most efficient way possible.

Main Job Responsibilities including but not limited to:

  • Loading and unloading of goods to and from railcars, tying/untying loads, tidying yard, etc.
  • Use of forklift, track mobile, crane and other equipment.
  • Inventory responsibilities
  • Abiding by yard rules, safety regulations and PPE requirements
  • Accurately completing all required paperwork
  • Abide by terminals processes and procedures relating to product transfers, quality assurance, safety and operations.
  • Complete required training and certifications necessary to perform duties safely and effectively.

Candidate Profile:

  • High school or GED equivalent
  • Labourer and/or Railway experience an asset.
  • Fuel experience is an an asset.
  • Equipment operation experience an asset (Forklift, Crane, Track Mobile)
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs: physically fit.
  • MUST have valid driver's license; Class 5 Driving License is preferred.
  • Experience loading trailers/railway cars an asset.
