Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Crew Member to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about the food industry and dedicated to providing excellent customer service. This role involves assisting with food preparation, bakery tasks, and ensuring a clean and safe environment for both staff and customers. Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is a plus, but we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn and grow within our team.

Duties

  • Assist in food preparation, including baking, cooking, and food handling
  • Decorate cakes and assist with bakery product presentation
  • Package baked goods and other food items for sale or delivery
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen and customer areas
  • Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions and assisting customers with their orders
  • Follow food safety protocols at all times to ensure quality and safety of products
  • Support team members during busy periods to ensure efficient operations
  • Help with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed

Skills

  • Experience in cake decorating, baking, or food preparation preferred
  • Restaurant or food industry experience is a plus
  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling procedures
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Kitchen experience including food handling, packaging, and basic cooking skills
  • Excellent communication skills and teamwork orientation
  • Willingness to learn new techniques related to baking, decorating, and food presentation
