This role involves assisting with food preparation, bakery tasks, and ensuring a clean and safe environment for both staff and customers. Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is a plus, but we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn and grow within our team.

Duties

  • Assist in food preparation, including baking, cooking, and food handling
  • Decorate cakes and assist with bakery product presentation
  • Package baked goods and other food items for sale or delivery
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen and customer areas
  • Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions and assisting customers with their orders
  • Follow food safety protocols at all times to ensure quality and safety of products
  • Support team members during busy periods to ensure efficient operations
  • Help with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed

Skills

  • Experience in cake decorating, baking, or food preparation preferred
  • Restaurant or food industry experience is a plus
  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling procedures
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Kitchen experience including food handling, packaging, and basic cooking skills
  • Excellent communication skills and teamwork orientation
