Your Future Role
Innomotics Inc. is looking for a Service Sales Specialist focused on growing the service business and passionate about serving customers. This is an individual contributor position. This individual will cover Canada and support the sales account managers to enable service growth and working closely with the business functional teams ensuring that the sales strategies are aligned with customer excellence and the set financial targets are achieved.
Travel expectation is 30%+.
This role is based in Nisku, Alberta.
For the right candidate, we may consider someone based in Eastern Canada.
- Develop and execute go-to-market (G2M) strategies for Canada
- Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, business history and installed base data to identify leads and target accounts
- Support direct and indirect sales teams throughout the service sales cycle—both onsite and remotely
- Monitor and drive sales performance to exceed targets
- Train, coach, and develop channel partners and account managers to ensure market coverage
- Establish strategic service agreements (MSA, LTSA) with key customers
- Serve as a subject matter expert on service offerings and processes
- Champion Innomotics' digitalization strategy across customer engagements
- Act as a liaison for escalations between customers and delivery teams
- Provide feedback to functional teams to improve customer-facing processes
- Collaborate with the Innovation team to shape future service offerings
- Lead and contribute to division-wide growth initiatives
Your Profile
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field
- 5–10 years of proven experience in service sales or business development with industrial customers
- Strong blend of new business development and account management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Proficiency in Data Analytics and Power BI
- Familiarity with CRM platforms (Microsoft Dynamics 365)
- Analytical mindset with ability to assess territory performance, identify coverage gaps, and uncover growth opportunities using data
- Strategic thinker who aligns daily actions with broader business goals and long-term growth initiatives
- Skilled communicator with a customer-first approach; able to lead key accounts and support others in a collaborative sales environment
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams and work effectively across internal and external stakeholders
- High sense of ownership and urgency in resolving customer issues and driving initiatives to completion
- Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills
Preferred Knowledge/Skills/Education/Experience
- 5–10 years of experience in Industrial electrical field (MV Drives, Automation, MV Motors, Switchgear)
- Background in B2B aftermarket sales
- Experience in key verticals such as Oil & Gas and Mining
