We currently have 11 locations throughout New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and Prince Edward Island. We are currently recruiting a Branch Operations Administrator to join our team of dedicated professionals in Bridgewater, NS.
What is my role?
Reporting to the Branch Manager, we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Branch Operations Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our branch by providing exceptional administrative support. They will be responsible directing and controlling branch inventory and operations, supporting the sales team, and maintaining excellent customer service standards. This position requires attention to detail, organizational skills, effective communication, a proactive approach, and a commitment to operational excellence.
They are also responsible for administrative support, including managing correspondence, accounts receivable and payable invoicing, and maintaining organized files and records, adhering to company policies and procedures.
What will you bring to Eddy Group?
As a Branch Operations Administrator you will be responsible for planning, organize, direct, control and evaluate the purchasing and inventory activities of the organization, by ensuring adherence to policies and procedures. Additionally, you will have:
· · Post-Secondary diploma or degree in a technical field preferred
· Five or more years previous experience in wholesale distribution with proven leadership abilities
· Effective leadership skills, with a strong focus on operations and business processes.
· A clear and solid understanding of personnel policies, practices, and procedures and other operational issues faced by the organization.
· Effective attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
· High level of integrity, confidentiality, and accountability.
· Sound analytical thinking, planning, prioritization, and execution skills.
· A well-defined sense of diplomacy, including solid negotiation, conflict resolution, and people management skills.
· Proficient use of various office-based software including Windows.
· Demonstrated organization skills with the ability to balance high volume activities and changing priorities
· Effective attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
· Ability to work with all levels in a team environment

This is a full-time salaried position working out of our location in Bridgewater, NS. The location will be open from 7:00 am-5:00 pm Monday-Friday, but hours outside of these should be expected. Salary is based on an 8-hour day, 40-hour week. Annual base salary will be commensurate with your experience.
