Duties

  • Assist in food preparation by chopping, slicing, marinating, and assembling ingredients according to recipes and standards
  • Cook menu items with precision, ensuring consistency and presentation quality
  • Follow food safety guidelines and maintain cleanliness throughout the kitchen area
  • Serve dishes promptly and accurately during service hours
  • Support in maintaining stock levels and organizing kitchen supplies
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations
  • Adhere to all health regulations and safety procedures during food handling and preparation
  • Assist with food ordering as needed.
  • Be able to take inventory before and after daily service.
  • You must perform opening and closing shift duties (cleaning and prep).
  • Be willing to cooperate with marketing video shoots.

Experience

  • Prior experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred, especially in roles involving cooking or food preparation
  • Knowledge of food handling procedures and safety standards is essential
  • Experience with meal preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen equipment operation is highly desirable
  • Familiarity with the food industry's best practices for cleanliness, sanitation, and customer service is a plus
  • Previous experience working in a fast-paced setting will be advantageous for success in this role
  • Previous experience in a Korean restaurant is considered a strong asset.
  • Korean language skills or being a native Korean speaker is preferred.
