Meaningful Innovations is seeking a Software Development Intern to support the creation of AI-powered tools tailored for higher education. This internship is ideal for individuals eager to contribute to real-world product development using a modern web tech stack.

You'll gain hands-on experience in full-stack development while collaborating on meaningful, production-grade software. You'll help shape the technology and user experience behind our AI solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Debug and resolve issues in front-end and back-end systems
  • Write clean, maintainable code and participate in peer reviews
  • Build and test web APIs
  • Offer input on architectural and engineering decisions

Required Skills

  • Proficient in TypeScript and JavaScript (ES6+ features)
  • Experience with React 19 and 15 (App Router, SSR, API routes)
  • Familiarity with Prisma and MongoDB or relational DBs
  • Comfortable with REST APIs, file parsing (PDF/DOCX), async flows
  • Exposure to AWS services, S3, OpenAI/Pinecone, or SDKs is a plus

Bonus

  • Familiarity with vector databases and LLM tooling (Copilot, Cursor, etc.)
  • Strong written and verbal communication
