K-Bro Linen Systems is the largest provider of laundry and linen services to the healthcare and hospitality sector in Canada and one of the largest in the UK. K-Bro has been a widely held, successful publicly traded company, listed on the TSX (KBL) since 2005.
NOTE: This position may be based out of Regina or Edmonton and we welcome applicants from either city.
Reporting to the General Manager at our Regina production facility, the Controller will be responsible for the following:
- Manage all accounting operations, including Billing, Payroll, AR, AP
- Prepare monthly financial reporting package and quarterly reporting requirements
- Complete and oversee full cycle accounting duties, including month-end reconciliations, journal entry posting and review, GST/PST fillings, and other tasks as required
- Complete annual budgeting process
- Liaise between Corporate Office and Operations
- Provide recommendations and implement new processes to ensure best practices
- Ensure compliance with internal control framework
- Assist with other projects as required
Qualifications:
- CPA designation is an asset
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Experience with Microsoft Great Plains is an asset
- Self-motivated and able to maintain strict deadlines for closing processes and project timelines
