About the Role:
We are actively seeking an experienced and dynamic Site Superintendent to join our team in the vibrant Lower Mainland of British Columbia (head office located in Surrey). As a key player in our organization, you will be instrumental in leading and overseeing construction projects that will shape our growing communities. Responsibilities:
- Core responsibility of the Site Superintendent is to deliver projects on time, and on budget.
- Supervise and coordinate all on-site construction activities and personnel.
- Plan daily and weekly work schedules, ensuring adherence to project timelines and milestones.
- Schedule the project with contractors, consultants, suppliers, vendors, and service providers to ensure project milestones agree with company expectations.
- Review and approve subcontractor work, materials, and deliveries.
- Maintain daily job reports, logs, and documentation of work performed.
- Conduct regular site meetings with contractors, inspectors, and stakeholders.
- Manage site logistics, equipment, and materials inventory.
- Ensure quality control and adherence to project standards from start to finish.
- Support cost control by tracking labor, materials, and potential change orders.
- Manage and resolve any issues with project while considering associated cost and best course of action
- Ensure high quality standards and limit post construction warranty deficiencies
- Monitor progress, quality, and compliance with plans, specifications, and building codes.
- Enforce job site safety protocols and ensure compliance with WorkSafe and company safety standards
- Consistent follow up with contractors, consultants, vendors, and service providers on all project related action items
- Other duties as assigned

About You:
- 5+ years of experience in the construction industry as a Site Superintendent
- Team player - cooperation with the team is essential
- Experience with wood frame development
- Creative problem solver & cost conscious
- Strong and fast decision maker
- Good communication skills
- Able to read blueprints and drawings.
- Competent with Outlook, Excel, Word
- Leadership experience
