About the Role

Seasons Property Management is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented
Accountant
with a
minimum of 5 years of experience
and a
CPA designation
. The ideal candidate brings a strong accounting background along with direct experience in
property management, building operations, security operations, and real estate
. This role is essential in ensuring accurate financial reporting, efficient operations, and long-term financial stability across our property portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and analyze financial statements for individual properties and consolidated portfolios
  • Manage month-end and year-end closing processes
  • Maintain general ledger accounts, reconciliations, and journal entries
  • Track operating expenses related to property management, building operations, and security services
  • Oversee accounts payable and receivable for tenants, vendors, and service providers
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
  • Handle lease accounting, CAM (Common Area Maintenance) reconciliations, and property-related tax filings
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal financial policies
  • Coordinate with external auditors and provide required documentation

Required Qualifications

  • CPA designation (mandatory)
  • Minimum 5 years of professional accounting experience
  • Experience in
    property management, building operations, security operations, or real estate
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards
  • Proficiency with accounting or property management software (e.g., Yardi, MRI, QuickBooks, SAP)
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills
