This is a full time, office-based position perfect for CAD technicians who enjoy working in both independent and collaborative capacities.

Salary negotiable based on experience.

Job Duties

  • Creation and revision of controlled manufacturing drawings using Solidworks.
  • Use of our MRP system to review inventory data, and create items such as bills of material, work order instructions, part numbers, product specification data, etc.
  • Assisting Engineering and Management with tasks and projects.
  • Assisting with product technical inquiries from our Sales and Customer Service teams.
  • Performing all duties in accordance with ISO 9001 quality management processes.

Requirements

  • Solidworks experience.
  • Diploma in Computer Aided Design and Drafting.
  • Good computer proficiency, including knowledge of Excel.
  • Experience using measuring tools, e,g,: vernier caliper, ID gauges, etc.
  • Experience with an MRP / ERP system is a major asset.

Job Type: Full-time
