Job Description:

The Simcoe/Norfolk Regional Campus at Fanshawe College is seeking an interested and qualified professional to teach in the Agri-Business Management program.

Reporting to the Associate Dean, this Part-time Faculty position will teach up to 6 hours per week starting January 6, 2026 and ending April 24, 2026. This position will be in-person at the Simcoe/Norfolk Regional Campus, located at 634 Ireland Road, Simcoe, Ontario.

We are seeking candidates to teach the following course:

  • AGRI-6002 , Food Safety & Traceability

General Qualifications:

  • Combination of excellent leadership and teaching skills with a strong commitment to academic excellence and student success 

  • Excellent communicator 

  • Strong interpersonal skills 

  • Ability to relate effectively to a wide variety of learners 

  • Strong technical/computer skills and familiarity with educational technologies are required 

  • Teaching experience with hybrid and/or online delivery is an asset 

  • Proven ability to work in a team environment 

  • Related industry work experience, previous college teaching experience and knowledge of curriculum design and student evaluations are assets  

Specific Qualifications:

  • Post Secondary Degree in a related discipline

  • Minimum 3 years' of recent and relevant work experience in Agri-Foods industry with experience in Food Safety and Traceability

  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
