Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Service Technician to join our team, providing expert maintenance and repair services for a variety of automotive and mechanical systems. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, utilizing your technical expertise to ensure customer satisfaction and vehicle safety. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical knowledge, hands-on experience with automotive repair, and the ability to work with a range of tools and schematics. Prior dealership experience is a plus, but we value candidates with a passion for mechanics and excellent customer service skills.

Duties

  • Perform routine maintenance and complex repairs on vehicles and machinery, including engine diagnostics, brake repairs, and suspension work
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to complete repairs efficiently and safely
  • Interpret schematics, technical manuals, and assembly instructions to troubleshoot issues accurately
  • Conduct inspections to identify mechanical problems and determine appropriate solutions
  • Assist with the assembly of parts or systems during repairs or upgrades
  • Maintain detailed service records and communicate findings clearly to customers
  • Ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications
  • Support ongoing maintenance tasks to prevent future issues and improve equipment longevity

Qualifications

  • Proven dealership or automotive repair experience preferred
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
  • Ability to read schematics and technical manuals accurately
  • Experience with automotive repair, maintenance, or mechanic work required
  • Ability to lift heavy components safely and perform heavy lifting tasks regularly
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information effectively
  • Knowledge of assembly processes related to vehicle or machinery repair is advantageous
  • Valid driver's license is required; own tools are a plus
  • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.50-$27.50 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
