Casual Dietary / Housekeeping Aide

Description

Wheatland Lodge is currently seeking a dependable and flexible Casual Dietary / Housekeeping Aide to join our team effective immediately.

This position plays a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment for our residents.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with food preparation, serving meals, and kitchen cleanup.
  • Perform general housekeeping duties, including cleaning resident rooms and common areas.
  • Ensure all work is done in accordance with safety and infection prevention control standards.
  • Provide support to staff and residents in a respectful and professional manner.

Qualifications

  • Must be fluent in English, both spoken and written.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Previous experience in dietary or housekeeping roles is an asset.
  • Must have appropriate availability, including weekends, days and nights.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills is a must.
