**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Provide personal care to patients, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Assist with meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition for patients.
- Administer medication as prescribed and monitor patient compliance.
- Offer companionship and engage patients in meaningful activities to promote mental well-being.
- Support patients with mobility needs, including heavy lifting when necessary.
- Maintain cleanliness in patient living areas to ensure a safe and hygienic environment.
- Document patient care activities accurately and report any changes in condition to nursing staff.
- Provide specialized care for patients with dementia or other cognitive impairments.

**Skills**
- Strong skills in **patient care** with a focus on compassion and empathy.
- Experience in **meal preparation** tailored to individual dietary needs.
- Knowledge of **dementia care** techniques and best practices.
- Proficiency in **medication administration** protocols and safety measures.
- Familiarity with **assisted living** and **home care** environments is preferred.
- Ability to perform tasks associated with **nursing home** settings effectively.
- Capability for **heavy lifting** as required by patient mobility needs.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with healthcare teams and families.
