Housekeeping Public Cleaner

Job Description
The Super 8 Prince George is looking for a Housekeeping Public Cleaner to join our hospitality team during evening operation. The selected candidate will have the opportunity to create lasting memories for every guest, ensuring guest rooms are comfortable, inviting and clean.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service.
- Clean and maintain all public spaces within the hotel.
- Maintain proper usage of cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Return and properly tag all lost and found articles in the Housekeeping Office.
- Follow departmental policies and procedures and service standards.
- Report necessary maintenance items.
- Follow all safety and sanitation policies.
- Other duties as assigned.
Skills and Requirements:
- Flexible schedule and able to work weekends, holidays when required.
- Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team with minimum supervision.
- Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times.
- Ability to perform constant repetitive motions such as bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill cleaning tasks.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs. on a regular and continuing basis.
- Previous guest service and/or Housekeeping experience is an asset but not necessary.
