Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Conveyancer to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in managing property transactions, ensuring compliance with legal requirements, and providing exceptional customer service. The Conveyancer will be responsible for overseeing the legal aspects of property transfers, preparing documentation, and maintaining accurate records to facilitate smooth transactions.

Duties

  • Manage end-to-end property conveyancing processes, including sales, purchases, and remortgages
  • Draft and review legal documents such as contracts, transfer deeds, and settlement statements
  • Conduct analysis of property titles and related legal documentation to identify potential issues
  • Liaise with clients, solicitors, estate agents, and financial institutions to coordinate transaction progress
  • Maintain organized filing systems for all transaction records and legal documents
  • Provide clear updates to clients regarding transaction status and legal requirements
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies throughout each transaction
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and preparing correspondence

Skills

  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders
  • Excellent analysis skills to interpret legal documents and identify potential issues
  • Previous administrative experience is preferred to manage documentation efficiently
  • Writing skills necessary for drafting legal documents and correspondence clearly and accurately
  • Knowledge of legal drafting standards related to property transactions
  • Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
  • Proficiency in filing systems for easy retrieval of legal documents and transaction records

This role is ideal for candidates who are meticulous, organized, and possess a solid understanding of conveyancing procedures. The Conveyancer will contribute significantly to the efficiency of property transactions while ensuring compliance with all relevant legal standards.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
