Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons, fostering a positive learning environment, and supporting students in achieving their educational goals. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact through instruction while continuously developing professional skills.

Duties

  • Prepare and deliver lesson plans tailored to diverse student needs and learning styles
  • Facilitate classroom activities that promote active participation and critical thinking
  • Assess student progress through assignments, tests, and observations, providing constructive feedback
  • Maintain a positive, inclusive, and motivating classroom atmosphere
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum materials and improve instructional strategies
  • Monitor attendance and engagement, addressing any behavioral or academic issues promptly
  • Stay current with industry best practices and incorporate innovative teaching methods
  • Support students outside of class hours through mentoring or additional assistance as needed

Skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to connect effectively with students of varying backgrounds
  • Strong organizational skills to manage lesson planning, grading, and classroom management
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities
  • Passion for education and continuous professional development
  • Prior experience in teaching or training is preferred but not required; relevant certifications are a plus
  • Ability to create an engaging learning environment that encourages curiosity and participation

Job Type: Fixed term contract

Contract length: 3 months

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 30 per week
