As we continue to expand our footprint, we are seeking a driven Sales & Business Development Representative to grow our presence across the GTA, Eastern Ontario, Quebec, and the Maritime provinces.
Position Overview
The Sales & Business Development Representative will be responsible for expanding market share, nurturing existing customer relationships, and identifying new business opportunities within the assigned regions. This is a remote role with travel required for customer visits, industry events, and occasional team meetings.
You will thrive here if you are self‑motivated, technically competent, and driven to build long-term partnerships in the industrial supply chain.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute regional sales strategies to grow revenue across the GTA, Eastern Ontario, Quebec, and the Maritimes.
Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers, including end users, EPCs, fabricators, and distributors.
Promote the company's full range of carbon steel, stainless steel, and alloy piping products.
Identify new market opportunities and emerging customer needs.
Follow up quotes, proposals, and offer product recommendations.
Collaborate with internal teams (inside sales, logistics, operations) to ensure seamless customer service.
Track sales activities, pipeline development, and market intelligence.
Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings.
Qualifications
3+ years of sales experience in industrial distribution, metals, piping products, or related sectors.
Strong understanding of carbon steel, stainless, and alloy piping products (pipe, fittings, flanges, etc.) is a major asset.
Proven ability to develop new business and manage a sales territory.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills.
Self‑starter with the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Willingness to travel within the assigned regions.
Bilingual proficiency in English and French is preferred, particularly for coverage of the Quebec territory.
