Candidates need not be Jewish, but must be receptive and open to working in a Jewish day school environment.
Qualifications:
- Experience or training working with children in a classroom setting.
- Experience working in a school setting.
- Formal education/training is an asset.
Key Responsibilities:
Including but not limited to the following:
- Work with students in an inclusive classroom setting as well as on an individual or small group basis
- Support students in a variety of subject areas with planning, organization and time management
- Maintain student records, follow IEP recommendations, and review strategies
- Prepare additional resources and materials to support students with learning differences
- Work with classroom teachers to help them understand the needs of students
